We utilise the latest in Dermoscopic technologies and techniques to ensure the highest quality diagnosis and follow-up, resulting in minimal excisions.

Dr Mark Franck

Dr Franck is a Fellow of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia (SCCA) and is a GP Skin Cancer Specialist . He has achieved the highest qualification in primary care skin cancer medicine in Australia through the peak body representing  skin cancer doctors. He holds a Masters degree in Skin Cancer Medicine and is a senior lecturer in skin cancer medicine at the School of Medicine, University of Queensland. He is also a Clinical Mentor to Registrars in the College Fellowship training program in skin cancer. Dr Franck is an accredited skin cancer doctor through the Skin Cancer College Australasia (SCCA) as well as being is an active member of the Skin Cancer College Australasia (SCCA) and is involved in Skin Cancer Audit and collaborative research into the incidence of skin cancer in Australia. He is also a member of the International Dermoscopy Society. Dr Franck has undertaken several post graduate certificates including the International Dermoscopy Masterclass and regularly attends skin cancer conferences locally and abroad to keep up to date. He is confident and qualified to diagnose and treat your concerns.

Dr Cameran Azad

Dr Cameran Azad is an accredited Skin Cancer Doctor with Skin Cancer College Australasia. He is registered with both the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation agency and the UK-General Medical Council.  He has more than 17 years of experience in skin cancer and melanoma diagnosis and management. Before starting general practice Dr Azad trained at the Western Hospital as well as The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne. In 2005 he started work in the Gippsland region for 10 years, followed by work in various dedicated skin cancer clinics across Sydney for 5 years. In December 2021, he joined the Dermatology Partnership in the UK and worked as a specialist doctor until September 2022.  He returned to Australia last year and started working with East Gippsland Skin Cancer Clinic in Sep last year. He has now relocated to Melbourne and will be joining the MoleSafe skin cancer clinic as of end September 2023.

Qualifications

  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.  
  • Master of medicine ( Primary care  skin cancer medicine) – University of Queensland.  
  • Dermatology Diploma from the Australian Institute of Dermatology  
  • Professional Diploma in Dermoscopy.   

 

Mrs Belinda Begleiter

Mrs Belinda Begleiter, our practice nurse, has been with the MoleSafe skin cancer clinic for over 10 years. She has a wealth of experience in general nursing as well as specialised knowledge in the field of skin cancer medicine. She has completed multiple qualifications in the field of dermoscopy and as such forms a critical part of all routine skin checks in the clinic. Above all, her always friendly demeanor will make you feel at ease when you visit for a skin check or when having a procedure.
